1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ThreatListPro (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free trial users and paid subscribers.
2. Service Description
ThreatListPro provides a curated IP blocklist designed for VPN brute force protection. The Service delivers a URL-based list of IP addresses that can be imported into firewalls as an External Dynamic List (EDL). The blocklist is checked for new attackers every 6 hours and is intended to help organizations block known malicious IP addresses at the network perimeter.
The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that the blocklist will prevent all attacks or that it will never produce false positives.
3. Account and API Key
Upon subscribing, you receive a unique API key that grants access to the blocklist. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. You may not share, sell, or redistribute your API key or the blocklist data to third parties, except as permitted for Enterprise MSP use below. Monthly and Yearly subscriptions are for use within a single organization on up to 2 firewalls. The Enterprise plan may also be used by a managed service provider (MSP) to protect the networks of its own clients, on up to 50 firewalls in total; the MSP remains responsible for those deployments and may not resell or publish the blocklist data itself.
4. Payment Terms
- Free Trial: The Monthly plan includes a 30-day free trial with full access to the Service. No payment method is required to start it. If no payment method has been added by the end of the trial, the trial ends, nothing is charged, and access stops.
- Subscription: After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. Plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time at threatlistpro.com/billing. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied within 14 days of your first payment, email [email protected] for a full refund of that payment. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the blocklist data (Enterprise MSP use for your own clients, as described in Section 3, is permitted)
- Use the Service to engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source data or methodology of the blocklist
- Use automated means to excessively query the Service beyond normal firewall EDL polling
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalMax Systems and ThreatListPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
The Service is a supplementary security tool and should not be relied upon as your sole method of network protection. We are not responsible for any security incidents, data breaches, or unauthorized access that may occur despite the use of our blocklist.
Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We collect minimal data necessary to operate the Service. For full details on our data practices, please review our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The ThreatListPro name, logo, website content, and blocklist data are the intellectual property of CalMax Systems. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the blocklist for your internal network security purposes only (or, on the Enterprise plan, for the networks of your own MSP clients).
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your API key will be deactivated and you will no longer have access to the blocklist.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify existing subscribers via the email address associated with their account. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
